AI Landscape
National AI Strategy: Malaysia's National Artificial Intelligence Roadmap 2021-2025 (AI-RMAP) which was launched in 2021 by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI).

The next phase of the national strategy will be led by the National AI Office (NAIO), formed under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital.

National AI Policy: The National Guidelines on AI Governance and Ethics was launched in 2024. Further AI policies are due to delivered as part of NAIO's key deliverables such as an AI Code of Ethics.

National AI Laws: There are no known AI-specific laws in place. ​
